Developing a Growth Strategy for a Sleep Apnea Company

Client Need

An established medical device company in the Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) wanted to exponentially increase the number of lives they serve

Project Objectives

  • Identify opportunities available for the client to achieve its desired growth and expansion within the next 2 years
  • Identify the rate-limiting hurdles in their path to realize these opportunities and provide recommendations to overcome those hurdles

Our Approach

Conducted current state diagnostics: We conducted an in-depth analysis of the company’s operations, interviewed internal stakeholders, assessing current operational and organizational challenges, and analyzing their current user flow with the product.

Analyzed the market and competition: We interviewed sleep health experts and patients, analyzed macro-trends in sleep health, and studied market competition within medical therapeutics and OSA management to investigate alternative business models and create expansion strategy

Created an optimization and expansion strategy: We used our analysis of current company operations and market analysis to create a set of recommendations for current patient retention, new patient acquisition, and enhancing overall patient experience and a roadmap for long-term growth using differentiated value proposition through different channels.

The company has since then worked with us to create a product strategy in-line with our recommendations and secured finances and board approval to implement the strategy
